As I was driving home from Toronto Thursday I was thinking about my personal blog post for this week. I had planned a bright and witty rebuttal to a blog post I had read on the net all about wedding magazines…then it came to me…International Women’s Day!

As I began to muse on all of the women I run across, and count on everyday I started to get a little verklempt.  I thought, it is high time that I thank them. Without these incredible women my family, business and creative path quite simply, would not be what it is today.

On this International Women’s Day…

Thank you so much to the women who greet me every morning with my double milk, triple sugar and shot of hazelnut at the Tim Horton’s drive thru…you are the best.

To Violet for your smile, wave and corralling my chatty boys…and to Joy and Ellie for your love of children and commitment to teaching.

Thank you to all of the kick butt women editors and admin teams that work tirelessly to bring the news, blogs and magazines to my feeds and that inspire me everyday.

To all of my women colleagues who make to upwards of 90% of this incredible industry. Those women who work their fingers to the bone, kiss their kids good night at 3 am after they sneak in after an event strike down, find the strength to put a smile on their face for their clients after losing a parent 4 days earlier and that pull off an amazing fete with a 103 degree fever. You never cease to amaze and inspire me.

Thank you to all of my incredible women clients…the love you share with your partners is the Ooh in my La La…

Thank you to all of the insanely talented women photographers who capture love and my work perfectly. The world is a brighter place because of you.

To my Mom…our paths haven’t always been the same…I am so happy that we now walk one together.

Thank you to the fabulously amazing and loving Eva, Shar, Ally and Angelica. Your support and encouragement makes my heart really happy!

Thank you to Stacy…you are my life’s GPS…one that has been steering me like a Sister for over 30 years.

Last but certainly not least thank you from the bottom of my heart to my Mother In Law Josephine Gojmerac…for loving my children and me as if we were your own.

In Love and Friendship,

Kelly xo
